Charles-Francois Daubigny's "Going To Work" Original

This is an excellent example of the artist work from the period c1870. Daubigny was a pioneer of modern landscape painting and an important precursor of French Impressionism. He was dubbed the leader of “The School of the Impression”. As a result, he drew the attention of Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, and many more important Impressionists. Certified authentic and genuine, and has been appraised at $135,000 CAN.

Oakwood Auctions is proud to announce to its October Toys, Collectibles, Art & Sculptures Auction. There will be an excellent offering of toys, collectibles, art and sculptures including John Deere die cast tractors, brand new in box McFarlane sports action figures, Gordie Howe and Brett Favre autographed art, original Aboriginal sculptures and carvings including works by Norval Morrisseau, limited edition and original art, estate items, as well as much, much more.

We are offering low opening bids and a competitive buyer’s premium (20%), making this appealing to the collector and dealer.

 

Day 1 – Saturday Oct. 23rd starting at 11:30am EST, consisting of Lot 1 to Lot 502. Day 1 will include limited edition and original art, as well as Aboriginal sculptures and carvings.
