Warner Bros. Animation Art limited-edition pan-cel Aerospace Jordan II: “That’s All Folks!” (1994), created from the finale of Nike’s 1993 Super Bowl “Aerospace Jordan” commercial where Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan save the galaxy from Marvin the Martian, K-9, and the green “Instant Martians,” as Porky Pig zips past with the famous banner. The characters are hand-inked and hand-painted on acetate over a lithographic star-field background; the lower right bears the embossed Warner Bros. Animation Art seal and the lower left is hand-numbered 377/750, matching the included Warner Bros. COA signed by Director Steve Felton and stating that an additional 75 Artist’s Proofs were produced. The wide “pan-cel” composition, the #23 starship nod to Jordan, and the marquee Looney Tunes cast make this one of the most crossover-collectible WB studio cels, appealing to animation, sports-memorabilia, and pop-culture buyers; it is directly tied to the renowned Nike commercial featuring Jordan and Bugs (the ad that later paved the road to Space Jam).
Condition
the artwork presents clean and vibrant with strong color, the WB seal is crisp, numbering is clear, the triple mat is clean, and the black frame shows only minor, expected handling -ready to hang. COA photographed is for piece #377 and recites the 1994 issue, hand-painted cel over 4-color litho background, and archiving of the master inking/background. Overall, very good to excellent display condition.
