2. Digital Catalogue

Our team of market savvy experts will send you a digital catalogue for you to review.

Detailed record-keeping is both essential and commonly required by those seeking estate sale and liquidation services. Oakwood Auctions will provide a complete, itemized consignment report and item descriptions, as part of our service package.

3. Auction Listed

As per the consignment agreement, your items will be listed 2-4 weeks before the live event for pre-bidding on 3 to 5 of our auction platforms, as well as the Oakwood Auctions’ website.

Email notifications are sent to our bidders, informing them of the auction and featured items. Our marketing department utilize social media, estate sale sites, and online classifieds to maximize exposure.

Time is precious. We make bidding online simple, secure, and exciting.

4. Auction Day

Bidding on lots is most intense 15 minutes before the lot goes live. We encourage our consignors to follow the closing of the auction. The auction is visible from the comfort of your home or on the go on a phone or tablet.

Winning bidders are required to pay within 48 hours of the conclusion of the auction.

5. Pickup and Shipping

Depending on whether your items were catalogued at your home or the Oakwood Auctions’ facility, buyers will get appropriate instructions for acquiring their items. If pickup is at the consignor’s home, we make sure this is a seamless process, during a professionally supervised window of time. Buyers must present identification and a ‘paid-in-full’ invoice during a specific time frame to collect their items.
