This is a pristine carving by Tony Bendig of a herron perched on a log. Tony Bendig won second place in 2013 in the Canadian National Wildfowl Carving Championship in the 6th Open category for this carving. This piece is mounted on a lovely painted base. The detail work in the herron's talons is truly exceptional.
