"The artist was born as the son of an Austrian diplomat in 1917. His first success in the field of arts he had still as a student when his family was living in Berlin and he took part in students contests for advertising - posters. After this he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin where he studied under Prof. Siegel. He continued his studies in Munich and from there on he started his great travels throughout Europe by which he completed his art education. Grossner is famous for his landscape paintings of Bavaria, Austria and other countries and has had several successful exhibitions of his paintings in Berlin, Munich and Vienna."
